Position: Full-time temporary Admin Officer
Location: Liverpool
Contract: until 10/03/26
Working Hours: 37 per week Mon-Fri
Pay rate: £13.69 per hour
Brook Street have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Admin Officer to join our public sector client based in Liverpool. This is a temporary assignment until 10/03/26 with a possibility of an extension. The role will be hybrid once trained.
Job description:
This is an administration role to support the team based in Redgrave Court, Bootle. Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Assist the team with on-going workload (including FOI/EIR/DPA requests, Internal Reviews and Complaints).
* Undertake administrative tasks including logging and triaging of correspondence/requests.
* Identify, extract, collate, redact, and otherwise prepare for disclosure, information, including large and complex datasets.
* Ensure good quality, accurate written responses are issued within statutory timescales.
* Follow due process (administrative procedures and processes).
* Effectively manage own caseload.
* Identify and share lessons learned and any best practice/insights from having dealt with cases.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience of Microsoft Office Packages.
* Able to prioritise workloads.
* Good time management skills.
* Good decision-making ability.
* Experience of applying FOI/EIR or DPA legislation would be an advantage.
* FOI Practitioner certification desirable.
