Cover Supervisor – Bath/NE Somerset
Looking for your next step in education? We’re on the hunt for a resourceful and self-motivated Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in the Bath/NE Somerset area.
This role is perfect if you enjoy working with young people and want to play a key part in their learning journey. You’ll step into the classroom when teachers are away, keeping lessons on track and helping students stay engaged and focused.
Protocol Education works with a wide range of schools across the area, so can really help you find the perfect match. If you would like a long term placement in the same school, we can support you with this. If you want the variation of day to day supply, we also specialise in this.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher
2. Supporting students to follow set lesson plans
3. Helping to maintain a calm and positive classroom environment
4. Being a reliable and enthusiastic member of the school community
What we’re looking for:
5. A genuine passion for working with young people
6. Experience supporting or working with students (in schools, youth work, tutoring, or similar)
7. Strong communication and behaviour management skills
8. Someone committed, flexible, and ready to get stuck in
9. NO FORMAL TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED
