Summary
We’re looking for a Campsite Assistant to work at Hafod y Llan Campsite and Watkin Bunkhouse. Your role is all about making sure that people have their best possible experience of an outdoor holiday with the National Trust.
This is a fixed term role for the camping season, running from March to November. We are looking for someone flexible, who can work 2 days a week at a minimum and 4 days a week in peak season. A working day will be 6 hours long and those hours can be flexible to best suit you. Expect weekend work, although weekend work will be shared out with other team members.
The hours advertised for this role is reflective of 12 months, however the actual hours you’ll be required to work for this role are 600. The amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the term of your contract.
Salary: £13.25 per hour - The advertised salary for this role will be in effect from 1st April.
Internally, you'll be known as an ‘Outdoors Holidays Operations Assistant’.

What you'll be doing
You’ll help to keep the campsite and bunkhouse clean, well-maintained and welcoming for all guests. This includes practical tasks like cleaning, basic maintenance and grounds keeping, reporting any repairs needed and generally being a friendly contact for everyone staying with us.
You’ll be greeting campsite guests, helping with their bookings and dealing with enquiries or complaints on site. You’ll also help to complete other administrative tasks working from a desk. Everything you do day-to-day will make a big difference to someone’s holiday, and help to make things run smoothly and to the standard that guests expect from the National Trust.
This is a fast paced, challenging but rewarding role, based in the heart of Eryri National Park, one of the most beautiful places to call an office.
