The Role:
Youll take ownership of the credit control function, ensuring payments are collected to agreed terms and aged debt is minimised. Youll also play a key role in improving internal processes and supporting the wider accounts team when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively chase outstanding payments and manage the full debt recovery process
* Work closely with Operational Managers to keep them informed of aged debt and risk
* Allocate incoming cash and maintain accurate sales ledger records
* Set up and manage new customer accounts
* Resolve invoice queries with professionalism and a customer-first approach
* Assist with general accounts support during peak times or staff absence
* Identify opportunities for process improvement in credit control practices
