Job Title: Subcontractor Co-ordinator

Salary: £34,000 – £37,000
What You’ll be doing:
As an important part of the wider service delivery space, we have an excellent opportunity for a Subcontractor Co-ordinator to join the team.
As Subcontractor Co-ordinator, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive sub-contracted maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities include the control of contractors on site and reviewing of their RAMS and safe systems of work. The management of day-to-day administration and overseeing the work being carried out by the team and sub-contractors is fundamental for this role.
Whilst working to ensure that operations and Service Delivery requirements are met by our vendors, you’ll be enforcing the use of our company processes, ensuring compliance and statutory requirements are recognised and adhered to. Management of the delivery of all works to the agreed customer completion dates, whilst ensuring KPI’s and SLAs achievement, is essential. Additionally, you’ll proactively liaise and support Supply Chain and Commercial teams to assist the negotiation of terms and costings with suppliers for smaller works ensuring value for money is being demonstrated.
You’ll Have:
Ideally as Subcontractor Co-Ordinator, you’ll have working knowledge and experiences of sub-contractor management, across varied and wide-ranging trading environments and be fully conversant with Control of Contractors processes. Coupled with this, SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Course) Certification would be highly advantageous, along with IOSH Managing Safely and strong Customer facing experience – from operative to management (manufacturing/site background).

You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to work well under pressure. Also, you’ll be self-motivated with proficiency to multi-task, have proficiency to manage in high pressured situations focusing on operational delivery and inquisitiveness to constantly look to improve on processes whilst searching for cost efficiency.
