This could be the role for you. We’re working with a range of specialist and mainstream schools across Northumberland that support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). They’re looking for Mental Health Support Workers who can bring patience, empathy, and resilience into the classroom—and help young people feel seen, heard, and valued. This isn’t about ticking boxes or sticking to scripts. It’s about showing up, staying calm when things get tricky, and offering consistent support that builds trust over time.
