About the Role
We are working exclusively with the leading distributor of apparel, supplying into sectors including Fashion, Merchandise, Corporate wear, Workwear, Schoolwear, and Promotions. They offer a wide selection to help their customers grow their businesses. We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Executive to promote various brands to key customers in South Wales and South West England.
The role is primarily field-based, with 4 days on the road and 1 day at home for organizing visits and managing diaries. You will work with a specified customer database and identify new business opportunities. Your goal is to help customers maximize their sales using the available assets.
Required Skills
* Proven experience in field sales, selling and presenting products
* Interest or background in clothing, apparel, or promotional wear (advantageous)
* Effective communication across various channels
* Active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
* Relationship building to establish trust and long-term partnerships
* Organizational and time management skills
* Data analysis capabilities
* Ambition and motivation to generate new ideas and succeed
* Self-motivated with a full driving license and willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities
1. Contact customers to build rapport, promote products, and increase engagement
2. Support customers' growth by matching assets to their needs
3. Research and target potential new customers
4. Understand the company's brand portfolio and customer fit
5. Present brands and products effectively
6. Gather industry and market feedback
7. Produce weekly and monthly reports on trends and strategies
8. Achieve set sales targets on a monthly and annual basis
