Adecco are recruiting for a skilled NDT Technician to join our client in Irvine on a permanent basis. Your role will be to carry out inspections using approved non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques. You will ensure materials meet required standards and are released without non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform NDE inspections using approved methods and standards.
* Ensure all inspected materials are released with zero NCRs.
* Support the NDT Manager with training of staff and trainees.
* Manage NDE consumables and ensure equipment is calibrated.
* Participate in inspections involving third-party witnesses.
Required Competencies:
* Strong communication and decision-making skills.
* Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
* Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Understanding of NDT specifications and procedures.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Performance Expectations:
* Carry out in-house and on-site NDT inspections as required throughout the production process.
* Maintain high standards to ensure all materials are inspected and released without NCRs.
Qualifications:
* PCN Level 2 certification.
* Qualified in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) as a minimum.
* Ultrasonic Testing (UT) qualification is preferred.
