Job Description:
Charity People is working with a £10 million turnover NGO to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in East London.
The organisation's working week is 4 days, with a salary of £62,539 for four days per week.
The client is looking for a candidate to start early June 2025.
Salary: £62,539 for four days per week
Must be: very strong on Charity SORP and statutory accounts
Led on system upgrade or implementation
Hybrid: Going to East London twice a week
Key priorities for this role include:
* Completion of annual accounts and audit (client is in final stages of annual audit)
* Coordinate financial system upgrade (manage and work closely with the Project Manager to lead on the upgrade). The interim Financial Controller will manage the project manager. The project has just started, and the system has been selected.
* Lead the payments, accounts payable, and receivable team. One team member is relatively new.
* Follow up on audit findings.
This role will close on 4th June 2025.
