(CST) Job Description Duties CPU: Responsible for the quality and consistency of the food offering across our delivered-in contracts. Responsible for Menu Development and Specification with Nutritional balance for our delivered-in contracts Event planning including menus, costings, logistics and team management. Responsible to set standard of work for areas like training, supply, ingredients, food quality and working environment for the chef brigade within the CPU. Accountable for the financial results associated to the CPU ensuring areas like margin, waste, stock control and KPIs are achieved. Leading forecast, budget on a regular basis to support the financial goals. Responsible for all the logistics. E.g. Drivers and Fleet. Tendering for new business. E.g. attending Site Visit, planning presentation and tasting. Work closely with the Resourcing Manager to develop competitive and appealing new ideas that reflect our standards and high quality. Stay up to date with new food trends. Ensuring compliance to CPU standard operating procedures. Plan the production schedule and organise workflow to ensure cost effectiveness. Collaborate with Recruitment team on recruitment and selection of staff, participating in interviews, trial shifts and providing feedback on candidates as required. Ensure that all team members, procedures, and paperwork are compliant with the relevant Health and Safety regulations and in line with Company guidelines. Duties within the Client Support Team: Support Staffing Manager in managing the Full time and Casual Chefs. Work with and support the food team and sales and marketing with offer development, tenders and client presentations across Lexington business. Responsible for maintaining training plans of the whole team. This includes training of all food concepts (new and existing). With support from Staffing Manager and HR & Payroll Administrator ensuring all training sessions are designed, planned and delivered in line with company requirements and business levels. Responsible for carrying out regular one to ones with team members and Appraisals using Talent Toolbox (TT2). Support CST Recruitment Consultant with all recruitment activities. Such as short listing, interviews, trial shifts, inductions, etc. Ensure high standards of personal hygiene and that the correct attire is always worn neatly and clean. Carry out any other reasonable requests of the Support Team management. Previous Executive Chef experience within Events or Contract catering is desirable
