We are a small, friendly GP practice in West London looking for experienced and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrators to join our team.
About the Role:
We require both a full-time receptionist for our busy GP surgery in Hammersmith and Fulham. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent customer service and communication skills, strong IT proficiency, and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience in a GP surgery and working knowledge of SystmOne are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling incoming calls and assisting patients
* Greeting and directing patients to appropriate services
* Preparing repeat prescriptions
* Registering new patients
* Scanning and filing documents
* Managing correspondence and performing general administrative tasks
* Supporting the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
* Essential:
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist (GP surgery preferred)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.)
* Ability to multi-task and stay organized under pressure
* Team player with the ability to work independently
* Experience using SystmOne
* Experience in administrative duties such as scanning, document management, and prescription preparation
