Your new role
As amercial insurance Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and achieving targets for new business and renewals. Your main tasks will include: Client Management: managing and managing strong working relationships with clients, including insurance brokers, independent financial advisers (IFAs), and other agents. Attract new business by identifying opportunities in the local market. Provide accurate quotations and meet sales targets.
Product Promotion and Development: Introduce new insurance products to the market. Promote new products through regular visits andmunication with intermediaries. Increase profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added-value services.
Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing queries and concerns. Follow up on lapsed clients and generate new leads. Consult on effective coverage for specific needs.
Market Awareness andpliance: Stay up-to-date with current market conditions andpetitors’ products. Monitor and report on performance against sales targets. Ensurepliance with regulatory requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Must have at least two years of insurance experience.
