We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a high standard of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and overall restaurant operations.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control.
* Manage team performance through effective training, mentoring, and leadership, fostering a positive work environment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment.
* Assist in food production as required, demonstrating culinary skills when necessary.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
* Collaborate with management to develop menus and implement new recipes or specials.
* Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as needed.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Background in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is crucial for this position.
* Previous experience in hotel or barista settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
