Location: HMP Bullingdon OX25
Salary: £44,818.21 inclusive of £3,000 in allowances per annum.
+ an additional 5% in recognition of shift and weekend working (once passed probation)
Contract: Full Time - Perm
We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male prison.

HMP Bullingdon operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work will impact every prisoner, employee, visitor, and the wider community, ensuring smooth and safe operation.
As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking an Electrician with:
1. Two years' experience as an electrician
2. Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
3. Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations
4. Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 or equivalent
5. 17th or 18th Edition
6. Certificate in BS7671
7. Good Health & Safety knowledge
8. Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
