This Fund Accountant for a rapidly growing Private Debt firm paying £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus, based in Heart of the West End.
Role
As an Fund Accountant, you will work closely with the Fund Controller who is all about internal growth and development. Please find a brief outline of the role below:
* Manage and oversee the fund's cash flow, including monitoring liquidity, capital deployment, and investor drawdowns and distributions.
* Maintenance of fund cashbooks, including daily reconciliations of fund cash movements and the split of principal and interest. Managing liquidity of Money Market Funds, hedging and capital calls and distributions including quarterly cashflow forecasting
* Serve as the key point of contact for investor financial inquiries, providing detailed responses to investor requests regarding fund performance, financial statements, and tax-related matters.
* Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, reports, and other communications to ensure transparency and build strong relationships with investors.
* Oversee the preparation of quarterly, and annual financial statements for private debt funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, LUX GAAP) prepared by administrator.
* Lead the preparation of in-house accounting operations including preparation of quarterly financial reports for investors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
* Dealing with debt facilities operations including quarterly waterfall operation.
Profile
The Fund Accountant for this Private Debt Firm is ideally for the below
* A Qualified Accountant with at least one Post Qualified Experience (ACA or ACCA)
* Someone who’s work with Private Debt Funds, either in industry or Fund Admin will also look at Private Equity
* Someone who’s had some exposure to Lux Structures but not a deal breaker
