Key Job Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
* Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health Safety standards.
* In the absence of the Head Chef, collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
* Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
* Support the Head Chef in training and developing the kitchen team to achieve high standards of quality and presentation.
* In the absence of the Head Chef, manage staff rotas to ensure efficient service and control labour costs within budget.
About you
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* A proactive, can-do attitude.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Flexible with shift patterns.
