Job Description:
Do you have experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a highly regulated industry? Are you experienced in working on major construction projects with proficiency in NEC4 option B contracts? The opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has become available with our client who is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to drive the development of all QS duties. Excellent remuneration package of £75k-£80k per annum dependent on experience.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
2. Co-ordination of AFC & internal Rolling Forecasts
3. Provision of information for Monthly Reports
4. Review of EW notifications & client responses or notifications downstream & upstream
5. Liaising with client on compensation events, payment allocation queries or disallowed items
6. Assisting CM on compilation of Project Board Reports
7. Calculation of BOQ star rates
8. Remeasurement of BOQ
9. Drafting of notifications including letters
10. Overseeing of subcontract management processes
11. Value analysis– SOR, FP, day works
12. Change Management – Notification, Quotation & Agreement of Compensation Events
13. Payment Application & Invoicing
14. Innovation to improve job margin
You will have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Knowledge of NAECI Agreement
2. Experience on major construction projects
3. NEC4 Option B Contracts
4. Standard Method of Measurement
5. Basic knowledge of P6 programmes
