GSL Education are recruiting a Maths Teacher to join schools throughout Sheffield, including those in the S11 postcode, delivering lessons that encourage logical thinking and resilience in learners.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will plan well-organised sessions, support pupils with different learning needs, and create a focused classroom environment where students feel encouraged to tackle mathematical challenges.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver accessible and engaging maths lessons that support understanding.
* Help pupils develop problem-solving and reasoning skills.
* Maintain positive behaviour and a purposeful learning atmosphere.
* Provide clear feedback to help students improve their performance.
* Work alongside colleagues to support consistent curriculum delivery.
* Track progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and experience working as a Maths Teacher.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* A supportive approach to learners of varying abilities.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A professional approach to safeguarding and school policies.
