Pharmacy Technicians - are you ready for a change or to try something new? The Pharmacy Team in Community Health and Social Care (CHSC) are looking for a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic registered Pharmacy Technician, to work within our Stewartry Pharmacy Hubs and GP practices. Our friendly team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Support Workers make up the GP practice clinical pharmacy service, taking a leading role in medicines management and medication review as part of the primary care multidisciplinary team. It is a rewarding role, helping patients in Dumfries and Galloway to safely manage their medicines. You will provide a clinical pharmacy service directly to patients. Day-to-day responsibilities may include: medicine reconciliation, medication reviews with patients, dealing with medicines related queries and assessing patients ability to manage their medicines (including in the patient’s home). Joint working with GP practice staff will be routine, as well as with the multidisciplinary teams within the local hospitals, Community Pharmacies and Home Teams. The education, training and development of our staff is of paramount importance to us, with our own education and training team, you will be provided with opportunities to continually develop as a professional. We have a very comprehensive supportive induction plan to help anyone coming to CHSC pharmacy team from another sector. This is an exciting fixed term post available until 25 June 2026.
