As Finance Systems Accountant you will support with the administration of Group Finance systems and minimising operational. Key responsibilities Working with the Finance Accounting Systems Architect, administering (& developing) the Group’s general ledger platform Administering financial systems within Group Finance Ensuring data integrity, internal controls and audit trails are maintained throughout all applications Overseeing and supporting financial/accounting interfaces working closely with group technology teams Be part of a team of go-to persons for Finance System queries and support in training the team on how to use the system Supporting the General Ledger replacement programme Working with Group Technology and Group Data to support governance, control and responsibilities framework for finance systems Support for the finance and IT system security audits Knowledge, skills and experience Prior experience administering financial systems, including general ledger Prior experience of delivering finance systems change and general ledger replacement Accounting experience, ideally a part/qualified accountant but could be through experience Working knowledge of SQL and database structures is desirable Experience working on projects Understand the fundamentals of all aspects of complex multi-currency, multi-company accounting systems Experience of balance sheet reporting and understand the role of processes and controls in financial systems Experienced and confident in extracting data from, and adding/updating accounts records to, a complex finance system Analysing and interpreting data to influence decision making Building and maintaining strong relationships with Group Technology, Group Data, Group Change and Finance Function Leads Experience with external technology providers, developing and managing change and delivery to agreed service standards What we offer A competitive salary - let's discuss it Group Personal Pension - up to 12% employer contribution Generous annual bonus scheme up to 24% 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a holiday buy and sell scheme An array of health and wellbeing benefits, including private healthcare, income protection and life assurance Up to £300 annual personal grant to a charity of your choice Encouraged to take at least one volunteering day per year Employee Assistance Programme Full study support to gain professional qualifications About us Benefact Group is a unique international financial services Group made up of over 30 businesses.
