We’re looking for the very best talent to join us at this exciting time in our journey, as we continue to strengthen our market leader position by providing an even better customer experience. We have an exciting new role for a Business Development Manager working regionally to join the team.

To represent Sunbelt Climate Control by developing strong and successful relationships with key external & internal stakeholders to win, develop, and secure revenue streams from large major customers operating in a range of sectors, positively and professionally.

Working closely with the sales and account management team to develop and deliver a commercial strategy for our products in order to achieve high ROI goals in accordance with the Sunbelt Rentals business objectives.

This will be done by optimizing revenue incomes through multiple sales channels (National, Regional, and Internal), identifying and marketing differentiated value propositions through alternative markets and growth sectors, and instigating a training and development program to improve the order capture conversion rate and overall customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Carrying out Cooling, Heating, Drying, Air Quality site surveys to determine customer requirements, being the first point of contact for our customers, liaising with the depot SCM and team to arrange deliveries.
2. Creating and maintaining sales pipeline reports to management using CRM/Salesforce packages, updated in line with business unit KPIs.
3. Working with product specialists to ensure a collaborative approach to the sales process, with regard to specific sector requirements.
4. Keeping up to date with products, competitors’ activity, and general market conditions.
5. Creating new strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities for your region.
6. Compiling and delivering reports related to your business area in a comprehensive and timely manner.
7. Creating Regional Development plans focusing on both hire and sale products, as well as National Development and local account management to maximize revenues and expand our multi-brand offering.
8. Maintaining a good understanding of hire contracts and terms.
9. Collaborating with all sales colleagues across the group.
10. Ensuring all policies and procedures are maintained at all times.
11. Performing ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management Team.
