This specialist Autism Accredited school supports children and young people aged 7:19 with high:functioning autism and associated learning needs. Every pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school provides a structured, nurturing and purpose:built learning environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary:GBP93:GBP100 per day for the first 12 weeks and GBP22,000 : GBP23,500 per annum (permanent)

Hours: Monday:Friday, 08:15am:4:30pm

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
As a SEN Teaching Assistant / Autism Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 SEN support and small group intervention sessions
* Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated needs
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and senior leaders
* Help students develop communication, social interaction and life skills
* Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning programmes
* Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning
* Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive outcomes for all learners
