About the Practice
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent small animal practice in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced and ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented and supportive team. The practice operates across two sites (just 5 miles apart):
* One site, a 24-hour hospital with a dedicated night team

With a varied and exciting caseload – from routine consultations to complex emergency surgeries – this role offers excellent opportunities to develop your clinical expertise in line with your personal interests.
The practice places great importance on work-life balance: diaries are carefully managed, with consults ending 30 minutes before shift finish, and dedicated time allocated for case workups and client communication.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and diverse team of vets, nurses, and support staff who share a passion for gold-standard patient care and professional development. The team includes vets and nurses currently studying towards further qualifications in Dentistry, Cardiology, Ultrasonography, ECC, and Schedule 3 Nursing. You’ll also work alongside a senior vet who is a Cambridge Approved BOAS assessor, with advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures (including BOAS, entropion, cherry eye, and cruciate repairs) carried out in-house.
