We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within ourwater and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

M Group Wateris currently looking to recruitan experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our team working on our Yorkshire Water contractintheNorth.
You'll manage small to medium infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery against SHE, programme, commercial, quality, and operational performance metrics. Coordinate all on-site activities across direct teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining tight control of resources, safety standards, and daily progress. Produce and contribute to key project documentation including Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, Quality Plans, and Temporary Works Registers to ensure compliance and safe execution. The role includes planning and sequencing works, resolving site issues proactively, and driving high-quality outputs. Working collaboratively with third parties such as Local Authority Highways, Network Rail, and land agents to secure permits, approvals, and effective project coordination. Through structured planning, strong communication, and hands-on project oversight, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant project delivery.
What youll bring Experienced in at least one of the following work types. Clean Water, Wastewater and or Site based Civil Engineering (sewers/manholes/shafts/water retaining structures/roads)
Proven leadership in managing projects (teams, subcontractors, and multi-site activities)
Strong commercial awareness and experience with NEC 3/4 contracts
Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Deep understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
Knowledge of CDM roles and responsibilities
A strong SHEQ mentality
Full UK driving license
