Home Comfort Solutions (HCS): A $3.6B segment that manufacturers and markets a broad range of home heating and cooling equipment for both the residential replacement and new construction markets in North America. Its product lines – extending from the entry level market segment to the premium high efficiency market segment – include air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, packaged heating and cooling systems, HVAC parts and accessories. HCS manufacturing facilities are located in Marshalltown, Iowa; Orangeburg, South Carolina; Grenada, Mississippi; and Saltillo, Mexico.

Building Climate Solutions (BCS): A $1.8B segment that provides indoor comfort solutions for low-rise office buildings, restaurants, retail establishments, distribution centers, schools, and other light commercial applications, as well as commercial refrigeration solutions to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses, and distribution centers in North America. Our HVAC service business focuses on full protection, preventive maintenance, planned replacement, installation, and recycling for schools, restaurants, and retail establishments on a national basis. HVAC products include packaged rooftop units, split systems, VRF and indoor air quality systems. Commercial refrigeration products include unit coolers, condensing units and compressorized racks. BCS manufacturing facilities are located in Stuttgart, Arkansas; Tifton, Georgia; Stone Mountain, Georgia, Tallassee, Alabama; Weatherford, Texas; Wheeling, West Virginia; Reno, Nevada; and Saltillo, Mexico.

In addition to the Richardson, Texas, corporate headquarters, additional research and development services and back-office functions are performed in Carrollton, Texas and Chennai, India.

Lennox AES is a fast-growing business unit within our BCS segment with approximately $100M in revenue in 2024. AES is composed of three businesses: AES Industries, which manufactures custom, engineered to order HVAC accessories; AES Mechanical, a licensed national contractor focused on large-scale HVAC unit replacement programs; and AES Recycle, which provides sustainable solutions for recycling end of life HVACR equipment. Together, these offerings deliver value through operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, and nationwide reach. Lennox AES has ~280 employees, including those at 4 manufacturing locations and field crews operating in all 50 states.


Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Job Description:

The Finance Leader is a key member of the Lennox AES leadership team, responsible for overseeing accounting, financial planning, and analysis, while driving financial discipline and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of financial operations through strong internal controls, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis. The Finance Leader also plays a key role in developing a high-performing team and serves as a liaison between AES and finance leaders across the Lennox enterprise.

This position requires an experienced financial leader who can operate both strategically and tactically, providing decision support to the VP/GM and the broader AES leadership team. The successful candidate will bring a passion for continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and drive above market, consistent and sustained growth plans for the business (have a strong growth mindset).
* Drive improved process and profitability within the business … be a profit maximizer.
* Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
* Oversee operational finance, including manufacturing, costing, and distribution activities.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting through monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis.
* Drive business insights by identifying trends and developments in the competitive environment.
* Conduct and lead complex financial analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to support business growth, contract negotiations, and investment decisions.
* Maintain and continuously improve internal controls; review and update processes as needed to ensure compliance.
* Champion automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
* Identify and implement financial synergies and best practices across the business.
* Build and develop a high-performing finance team.


Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
* Strong experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) and advanced proficiency in Excel and Access.
* Demonstrated ability to solve complex financial problems and lead through influence.
* Experience in a manufacturing or operational finance environment is strongly preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
* Proven track record of driving process improvement and delivering results.

Other Work Requirements:

This is an on-site leadership role based in Tallassee, AL. Occasional travel to Lennox headquarters in Richardson, TX, and other AES locations is expected.
