Senior Configuration and Build Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £46,000
Land Ceptor is in service, in production, and evolving. This role offers experience across all phases of the product lifecycle, from development through live programmes and continuous improvement.
You will own the build definitions for a launcher system, working in PLM to keep configuration accurate as the programme grows in scope and complexity. You will manage change notices, support non‑conformance resolution, and collaborate with UK and Italian teams to keep live and new builds aligned. When manufacturing has questions, you are the trusted point of contact.
When in‑service customers raise queries, you are involved in resolving them, providing engineering expertise to maintain operational readiness.
This is a broad role that requires you to prioritise, communicate clearly, and stay grounded when programmes become complicated.
Qualifications
* Background in large mechanical assemblies with hydraulic or electrical installations.
* Experience in configuration or change management in a regulated environment.
* Strong prioritisation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
* Holder of current British citizenship with Security Control clearance.
Working Conditions
Hybrid working (2–3 days a week onsite). Current UK citizenship required for SC clearance.
