Loughborough College is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Therapy to join our forward-thinking Higher Education Sport Team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of undergraduate modules in Sport and Exercise Therapy.
2. Support students in developing industry-ready skills through real-world projects, case studies, and applied learning.
3. Develop and assess student learning through innovative teaching practices and applied learning strategies.
4. Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of our Sport and Exercise Therapy curriculum.
5. Provide academic support to students, promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
6. Build and maintain industry links to enhance student experience and employability opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
7. A master’s degree (MSc) in Sport and Exercise Therapy or a closely related discipline (e.g. Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation, Sports Physiotherapy, Strength and Conditioning) or willing to work towards.
8. Have a recognised membership within the field of Sports Therapy (e.g. Society of Sports Therapists, British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy).
9. Demonstrable experience in an applied sports industry setting (e.g. professional clubs or clinical settings).
10. A passion for education and the ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
11. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
12. A commitment to continued professional development and a passion for education.
Desirable:
13. A recognised teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one).
14. Experience of teaching in higher education and designing/assessing academic content.
15. An active interest in research or industry engagement within the field of sport and exercise therapy
