We are looking for a Heritage Consultant to join this growing team. You will be office based but expected to travel for site meetings and visits.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working with public and private sector clients and be confident communicating across the board.
This role requires a mix of analytical skills and practical knowledge to ensure the provision of expert advice and solutions.
Responsibilities
1. Carry out heritage impact assessments
2. Advise on statutory consents
3. Manage any appeal processes
4. Work with the team to advise on heritage-led regeneration projects
5. Conduct site analysis and desk-based archival research
6. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarising findings and recommendations
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements relevant to consulting practices
Skills and Qualifications
1. Related degree (e.g., Town Planning, Urban Design, Architecture)
2. Relevant professional accreditation
3. Experience within heritage planning or building conservation
4. Confidence in advising clients, stakeholders, and project teams
5. Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and ArcGIS Pro
6. Driving licence and access to own vehicle
