Smart Teachers are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Mathematics to join a high-achieving secondary school in Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within both the Mathematics and SEND departments, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
The Role
Deliver small group Maths interventions, including Entry Level and GCSE support
Provide targeted support for students with SEND, EAL and those requiring additional challenge
Lead on strategies to build student confidence, motivation and achievement in Maths
Work collaboratively across Mathematics and Learning Support teams
Support enrichment, mentoring and wider school initiatives

Person Specification
HLTA qualification (or willingness to complete in post)
Strong subject knowledge in Maths (STEM-related degree or A-level desirable)
Experience working with young people aged 10–18
A passion for supporting inclusion and student success
