We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team as a Grants and Governance Senior Coordinator.
The role is key to growing the LFCF’s grant giving and delivering the Foundation’s ambitious strategy 2025-2030:
* Triple beneficiaries to 500,000 per season and double our funding to enable this.
* Deliver or support programmes that have a positive impact on health, learning, and employment outcomes in the highest-need communities across the Liverpool City Region.
* Work in 10+ countries internationally with activity delivered through impactful partnerships.
* Continue to lead the sector in research, evaluation, and impact measurement.
* Ensure equality, diversity, and inclusion are embedded within the culture, practices, and policies of our entire employee and participant experience.
What will your role involve to contribute to the delivery of the strategy?
* Coordinate grant awards along the complete cycle, from pre-application enquiries, through governance processes, to the awarding of grants to successful organisations.
* Maximise opportunities to reach the highest-need communities across the Liverpool City Region and beyond by providing responsive and high-quality support to grant applicants, local communities, beneficiaries, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Work with successful applicants to ensure a seamless and timely process to award grants. Once grants are awarded, build strong relationships with recipients and support their compliance with policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance where needed.
* Deliver monitoring returns and reporting from grant recipients, ensuring beneficiary data is captured and evaluation and impact measurement are reported accurately.
* Organise and participate in open events and stakeholder consultations to promote grant opportunities, understand community needs, and better support them.
* Develop a deep understanding of processes to troubleshoot problems, escalate issues appropriately, and contribute ideas for process improvements.
* Produce reports to evidence achievement against strategic targets.
* Collaborate with other areas of governance, with opportunities for learning and development, including formal training and qualifications.
