Qualifications
* Essential: Full GMC Registration
* Essential: MRC Psychiatry or equivalent
* Essential: S.12(2) Approval
* Essential: Approved Clinician approval
* Desirable: Additional relevant postgraduate qualification
* Desirable: Relevant clinical qualification
* Desirable: Welsh Approved Clinician approval
Experience
* Essential: Comprehensive training and experience in Psychiatry
* Essential: Higher training experience in general adult psychiatry
* Desirable: Experience of acting as Responsible Clinician
Skills
* Essential: Good communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal)
* Essential: Competence in current assessment and treatment
* Essential: Competence in risk assessment and management
* Essential: Understanding of relevant clinical, legal and policy issues
