Senior Travel Consultant – China Tour Specialist
About Ying Wah Travel: Established in 2001, Ying Wah Travel specialises in Asia flight tickets and tours. We are an appointed agent for many leading airlines and provide high‑quality travel services to clients across the UK and beyond.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated travel consultant with strong knowledge of the China travel market and tour package design.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and create customised travel packages for clients, including flights, hotels, tours, cruises, transportation, and itineraries.
* Develop and operate China tour products and travel itineraries.
* Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and face‑to‑face consultations.
* Manage and respond to customer enquiries on social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, WeChat, and Xiaohongshu.
* Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
* Manage client accounts independently and support team members when required.
* Ensure accuracy and attention to detail on all bookings and enquiries.
* Contribute positively to team performance and office operations.
Requirements & Skills
* Fluent in Chinese/Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
* Strong understanding of the China travel market and tour operations.
* Experience designing travel packages and customised itineraries.
* Confident using GDS/NDC systems.
* Experience with Amadeus (1A) ticketing preferred.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
