Description
Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AirTanker’s Total Reward approach to ensure we have a fair and Equitable Pay and Reward Framework in line with our Pay aspirations - allowing us to retain and attract the talent needed to deliver business objectives. This role directly impacts employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with key stakeholders including AirTanker’s Financial Controller, develop and maintain a compensation infrastructure, including delivery of the annual pay cycle, updating pay structures, overseeing pay progression, allowances and reviewing incentive schemes.
• Provide input into AirTanker’s remuneration committee to enable timely decisions in relation to AirTanker’s pay and reward approach.
• Review, develop, communicate and deliver a programme of benefits that provides choice to a diverse workforce, supports people to be well at work and helps attract and retain talent.
• Work with key stakeholders to lead the selection, renewal processes and relationship with suppliers, for a range of benefits, employee recognition and wellbeing solutions ensuring excellent delivery of services supporting Total Reward Strategies.
• Monitor market trends in compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness.
• Ensure that pay and benefits align with the AirTanker’s context and culture, balancing employee needs with the organisation’s financial sustainability.
• Contribute to shaping the employer brand through effective reward strategies.
• Research, develop and propose unique reward solutions working with the Business and the Head of People Experience to develop recommendations to present to senior leadership.
• Work with the People Insights Lead to analyse, and model complex data to support effective decision making and recommendations.
• Work across the business to develop management understanding and capability in respect of our Total Reward approach.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• CIPD qualification at degree level - Or equivalent Experience
• Experience of delivering a range of reward projects including designing, developing, and implementing new solutions.
• Experience of leading and influencing others.
• Strong project management / planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• An innovative mindset with creative skills to develop new reward solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly build and manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in data analysis, benchmarking, and market research.
• Experience of analytical job evaluation systems and methodologies.
• Experience in leading and managing change in complex and fast-moving environments.
