Base pay range
We’re supporting a specialist Higher Education provider based in London with their recruitment for an Admissions Officer. The post holder will oversee the admissions process, supporting and nurturing applicants through the admission process helping drive enrolments.
Job responsibilities:
* Manage the admissions process, ensuring timely handling of enquiries, applications, interviews, and offers while maintaining accurate records and delivering an excellent applicant experience
* Supervise communications across various channels, handling complex enquiries
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a strong understanding of courses, entry requirements, and policies, ensuring accurate information is provided to applicants
* Ensure admissions processes align with policies, legal requirements, and sector best practices, while developing guidelines and resources to support service delivery
* Oversee initiatives to convert applications into enrolments, including conversion events, online courses, and data monitoring to track admissions activity and performance
Candidate profile:
* Experience in an admissions role within Higher or Further Education
* Strong knowledge of UK HE admissions processes, including standard qualifications and UKVI regulations
* Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive applicant experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
* Proven ability to manage a varied and complex workload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure
* Competence in interpreting numerical data for analysis and reporting purposes
Working hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Location: London (hybrid working – 3 days on site, 2 days working from home)
