As the Pensions Manager you will lead a dedicated team and work to enhance our pension services, ensuring a customer‑focused approach while driving innovation and continuous improvement for our members and employers.
We are looking for an experienced Pensions Manager to provide leadership and direction for the pension administration service at the Nottinghamshire Pension Fund. In this role, you will oversee the day‑to‑day management of our pension administration services, meeting the needs of our members and employers and ensuring the service is compliant with LGPS regulations and other relevant legislation.
Please note that this is not a business support, administrative, or clerical role. Applicants must demonstrate experience operating at a minimum of Team Manager or Team Leader level within either public or private sector pension schemes, and be seeking an opportunity to head up a pension administration service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of a customer‑focused pension administration service.
* Drive continuous service improvement to meet the Fund’s key performance indicators, maximising the use of technology.
* Manage and develop a range of specialist pension administration teams.
* Implement increased automation and digital services to enhance efficiency and access to services.
* Build on areas of strength within the team while addressing areas for development.
* Contribute to the strategic and operational management of the Pension Fund.
* Ensure appropriate governance arrangements for pension administration are in place.
Required Skills And Qualifications
* Proven experience in pensions administration management.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Excellent understanding of pension regulations and governance, particularly LGPS.
* Experience in driving service improvements and implementing digital solutions.
* Ability to analyse performance data and make informed decisions.
