Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School is looking to appoint a caring and supportive Behaviour Support Lead to join our collaborative and friendly Student Support department. The purpose of the role is to: - Support the curriculum provision and learning support for targeted students at risk of significant under-achievement. - Supervise and manage the learning of pupils who are in the ‘Damascus’ Internal Exclusion room to ensure students are focused and on task at all times while in internal exclusion and to ensure they are making progress in line with their individual targets and needs - Provide behaviour intervention support, through mentoring and coaching as required. Terms: Days: 3 days per week (job share) - Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays Hours: 18.75 hours per week Times: 8:30 - 3.15pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break per day) Weeks: 38 weeks (term time only) plus 5 inset days = Total 39 weeks paid per year plus 5.6 weeks annual leave (to be taken in school holidays) Grade: H5, SCP 8 - 11 (depending on experience) Salary: 27,553 - 28,871 plus fringe allowance FTE (please note this is the full time salary and the actual salary will be paid pro-rata over 12 equal monthly instalments) G Interviews: The deadline for applications is Wednesday 5th November and interviews will take place w/c 10th November 2025 - interviews may take place before the closing date so early applications are encouraged.
