Customer Team Leader
Location: The Co-operative Food, 34-49 Grays Inn Road, London, WC1X 8PR.
Pay: £15.24 per hour including London allowance.
Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part-time.
Working pattern: varied shifts (early mornings, afternoons, late evenings, weekends); includes in-store bakery.
Full, paid training provided.

You must be aged 18 or over to authorise age‑related sales.
What you’ll do
* Provide friendly, welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful service daily, including in-store bakery, often managing the store and handling challenging situations.
* Develop the team’s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued and respected.
* Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
* Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience.
* Support the store manager by deputising when they are not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
* Lead the way in introducing new products and services; work closely with the team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback.
* Build relationships and engage in the local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co‑op community plan.
