As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC‑One, you will be a role model, leading by example to embody kindness in every aspect of our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Residents are people with their own stories; you will support them with dignity and respect while providing high‑quality care.
Job Overview
You will work full‑time (38.5 hours per week) in a role designed to upskill current Senior Care Assistants. You will learn clinical tasks under the supervision of qualified nurses and transition into a Nursing Assistant.
Responsibilities
* Administer medicines, care of wounds and catheter care under nurse supervision.
* Assist with person‑led care planning and the delivery of care arrangements.
* Report accidents, incidents and any concern regarding resident wellbeing.
* Provide social support to residents with dementia, including companionship and meaningful activities.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or currently working towards).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care with senior carer or similar leadership responsibilities.
* Understanding of person‑led care planning, legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Knowledge of safeguarding principles and ability to recognise and report signs of abuse, harm or neglect.

Training and Development
