The Role
Why This Role Matters
As an Account Manager at COOLSPIRiT—A Databarracks company ,you’ll be responsible for both growing our customer base and managing relationships with existing clients. This is a dual role: you’ll lead on new business acquisition, converting qualified leads into long-term clients, while also being the trusted partner for a portfolio of key accounts. You’ll be empowered to shape your own success with autonomy and strong support.
Responsibilities
* Drive New Business: Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities. Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close.
* Manage & Grow Accounts: Build deep, long-term relationships with clients. Lead contract renewals, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and proactively resolve issues.
* Client Advisory: Act as the main point of contact for your portfolio, providing regular reviews, strategic advice, and ensuring clients’ evolving needs are met.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Development, Technical, and Product teams to deliver seamless onboarding and ongoing support.
* Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans focused on retention and growth. Maintain accurate records and forecasts in the CRM.
* Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity, sharing knowledge to inform our product and go-to-market strategy.
* Revenue Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed sales and retention targets, using strategic thinking and strong negotiation skills.
* Client Advocacy: Deliver service that leads to referrals, case studies, and long-lasting partnerships.
