About the Graduate Scheme:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff, gaining valuable classroom experience while developing key skills needed for a future career in education.
No previous school experience is required - just a genuine interest in working with children and young people.
The Role:
1. Supporting pupils in lessons, both 1:1 and in small groups
2. Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
3. Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
4. Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
5. Gaining experience across different year groups and subjects
The Ideal Graduate:
6. A degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred)
7. A strong interest in education, teaching, or child development
8. A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
