SEND Teaching Assistant

We’re working closely with a friendly SEND school in Enfield that’s on the lookout for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a setting that understands behaviour is communication, values consistency, and knows how important great support staff are to pupils’ progress.
What your day could include:
1. Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping them feel safe, calm, and ready to learn
2. Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and wider support teams to keep routines consistent
3. Supporting pupils with communication, regulation, and social development
4. Celebrating the small wins, because they matter more than you think
This role could suit you if you:
5. Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, in a school or care setting
6. Bring patience, empathy, and a calm head, even on challenging days
7. Enjoy working as part of a close, supportive team
8. Want a role where relationships come first and progress is personal

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
