We're looking for a proactive and friendly Democratic Services Officer to join our small, supportive team here in South Holland. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our democratic processes. From preparing agendas and minutes to supporting councillors and helping meetings run effectively, you'll be at the heart of the decision-making that shapes our district. As part of the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP), you'll also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across our partner councils. It\'s a great chance to be part of a wider professional network while still enjoying the close-knit feel of our South Holland team.
Responsibilities
* Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings.
* Support councillors and help meetings run effectively.
* Be at the heart of the decision-making that shapes the district.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and partner councils.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Confident communication skills and the ability to work well with officers, councillors and the public.
* A team-player who thrives in a small, friendly, supportive environment.
* Accuracy, attention to detail, and a professional approach.
* Willingness to attend evening meetings (with time off in lieu).

About Us
Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council have formed the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership.
