Responsibilities
As a social worker within the mental health team you will undertake strengths‑based assessments, deliver appropriate person‑centred support and outcomes for adults with longer‑term care and support needs in the community. You will work within the team, promoting independence and enabling individuals or groups to maximise their strengths.
Qualifications and Skills
* Create innovative, strengths‑based solutions with individuals and their carers.
* Create and maintain a culture that enables and empowers staff and individuals alike.
* Plan interventions to be implemented for customers individually.
* Confidently identify and challenge inappropriate practice.
* Hold an accredited Social Work Degree or equivalent Professional Social Work qualification with in‑depth knowledge of the professional area of practice and current Adult Social Care issues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, conciliation, people management, written and verbal communication, and motivational ability.
