Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage project controls within the PMO.
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with project objectives and timelines.
* Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive management to minimize impact on delivery.
* Track project progress, analyze performance data, and generate reports for insights and improvements.
* Ensure Project Baselines are implemented for performance measurement and variance analysis (time and cost).
* Communicate Performance Management Baselines (PMB) and updates to stakeholders.
* Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns.
* Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
* Allocate resources effectively, addressing constraints and ensuring optimal utilization.
* Manage project changes, documenting and communicating impacts on scope, schedule, and budget.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project controls team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Desirable Skills
* Extensive experience with CEMAR and document management systems.
* Strong analytical skills for complex data analysis and decision-making.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement focus.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, SAP).
* High accuracy and attention to detail in project controls.
* Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
* Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
General Requirements
* Preferred education in Business Administration, Information Management, or related fields.
* Experience at National Grid is advantageous.
* Relevant certifications in document control or project management are a plus.
