Bannview House is a modern, purpose-built Nursing Home supporting up to 80 residents. The Home is designed with individual bedrooms and ensuite facilities, a comfortable lounge and dining areas, with gardens and a patio area. Bannview House has three dedicated units covering General Nursing, Dementia Nursing and General Residential.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
* Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
* Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
* Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
* Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.

Qualifications
Required Criteria
* Right to work in the UK
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A good standard of oral and written English
* A non-judgemental approach to others
* Excellent communication skills with the compassion required to deliver high-quality care to our residents
* Respectful to residents and the values and beliefs of other team members
Desired Criteria
* Educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential
* Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided
