Location Midlands, preferably Northampton area We're looking for a dynamic Soft Services Manager to oversee cleaning, security, reception, office services, grounds maintenance, and general facilities services across key sites. This is your chance to combine leadership, innovation, and operational excellence in a role that makes a real impact. In this role, you will manage and develop a team of site and mobile staff to deliver outstanding customer service and operational performance. From creating and managing cleaning schedules and audits to ensuring compliance with HSQE standards, youll take ownership of all aspects of soft services delivery. Youll work closely with clients to identify risks, implement best practices, and deliver tailored solutions, while managing budgets, P&L, invoicing, and supplier performance. Regular operational meetings, audits, and innovation initiatives will be key to driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards. As an Apleona Soft Services Manager, were looking for: IOSH / NEBOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HNC level qualification or equivalent; BIcS certification Proven experience in a management role within soft services or FM Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on motivation and development Ability to manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with knowledge of employment law and employee relations Degree-level qualification in FM or Business Management (desirable) Experience in FM or retail sector (desirable) SIA Non-Front Line license (desirable) Valid UK Driving license with access to own vehicle In return, well provide you with full training on specialist items once you start and make sure that you have everything yo u need to do a great job and be part of the team!
