Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of animals? We are offering a rewarding opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon in Amersham with a competitive base salary of £55,000 per annum. Role Requirements:
- We are seeking a dedicated Small Animal Vet
- Ideal candidates are ambitious and enthusiastic, but we happily welcome new graduates
- Certificates are not required
- Flexible working hours are available
- No out-of-hours rota
The Company:
- New ownership aiming to expand the vet team by adding one more
- A group of 2 practices, including a collaboration with Vet4Pets Worcester
- The company has plans for growth, with a strong emphasis on training, flexibility, and incentives
The Practice:
- A Small Animal first opinion practice with modern facilities
- Equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and access to a CT scanner
- Currently staffed with 4 vets, looking to expand to a team of 5
- Supported by 5-6 nurses
- Practice hours: Monday to Friday 9:00-19:00, Saturday 9:00-17:00
- Located in an easily accessible area with good transport links
The Role:
- Average working hours are 9:00-19:00
- 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9:00-17:00
- Great mix of surgery and consultations with a shift towards full surgery days
- Saturday sole charge with full phone support from Jonathan
- No requirement to cover more than one site
