JOB DESCRIPTION: GRP Laminator / Composite Technician Fibreglass, Trimming, Repair As our GRP Laminator / Composite Technician, you will work as part of our trim and finishing team, producing high-quality composite components for a variety of sectors. You will undertake GRP mould laminating, trimming, repairs, and finishing work. While carbon fibre repair experience is beneficial, full training will be provided however, fibreglass/GRP experience is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: GRP laminating using hand lay-up methods Trimming, cutting, drilling, and finishing composite components Identifying and repairing defects in GRP and carbon fibre parts (training provided) Working with moulds, patterns and technical drawings Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Ensuring all work meets required quality standards Supporting the wider production team with composite-related tasks PERSON SPECIFICATION GRP Laminator / Composite Technician You must have hands-on experience in GRP fibreglass laminating. Backgrounds such as boat building, automotive composites, moulding, or general fibreglass production are all highly suitable.
