Key Responsibilities in Residential Conveyancing Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity. Draft, review and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and other legal documentation in line with best practice and regulatory requirements. Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and solicitors to progress transactions and provide accurate updates throughout the conveyancing process. Carry out searches, review titles, raise and respond to enquiries, and ensure all due diligence and compliance needs are met in accordance with CQS, SRA, AML, and GDPR guidelines. Oversee post-completion formalities, including SDLT returns, Land Registry applications, and discharge of mortgages.
