We're launching a brand-new catering service at the B&Q Distribution Centre in Blyth and are looking for enthusiastic and reliable General Catering Assistants to be part of this exciting journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fresh, modern kitchen environment, preparing and serving homemade meals to hardworking shift workers in a busy warehouse setting. Your responsibilities will include serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner (both behind the servery and at the till), assisting with food preparation, general cleaning and washing-up duties, stocking supplies, and participating in in-house training to maintain high service standards.
No prior catering experience? No problem! While experience is a plus, it's not essential. We provide full training, including food safety. What matters most is a positive, can-do attitude, a willingness to work as part of a team, and a friendly, confident approach when dealing with customers.
